It is a privilege and pleasure to invite you to the1st comprehensive pain management conference in the UAE, to be held in Al Ain, starting October 27th 2009. The conference is organized by the multidisciplinary comprehensive pain management committee at Tawam Hospital as an initiative to improve pain care in our region and surrounding countries. The plenary and breakout sessions and exhibits will take place at the Al Ain Intercontinental Hotel while the workshops will be hosted in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, adjacent to the Tawam Hospital Campus. This conference presents a global forum at which all those involved in pain management can learn from renewed scientists, researchers, academics and professionals to discuss treatment options and overcome the challenge of pain problems and promote healthcare providers to Stop the suffering and say NO to pain. The conference theme provides a tremendous opportunity for a broad range of presentations (see scientific program) – we urge you to share your research, experiences and knowledge, in our conference. We have worked for several months to put together an exciting and focused agenda bringing together experts, visionaries and provocateurs from the world of pain management. We hope you will have an interesting, challenging and educational few days in our 1st pain conference.

Al Ain is a very nice city, with plenty of charm and full of attractions and the Conference Organizing Committee is working towards a very successful meeting both in the quality of the scientific program and the diversity of the social happenings with many attractions for the delegates and their families.

We therefore strongly recommend that you do not miss this event and suggest that you make definitive plans for your participation at your earliest convenience.
