Dr Marie Hanna graduated from Ain Shams University Cairo/ Egypt, completed Anesthesia residency from Loyola University in Chicago, earn an education award and became director of regional anesthesia at the University of Kentucky, currently Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and director of acute pain service at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore Maryland. She has several peer review publications in regional anesthesia and pain medicine. Dr Hanna is recognized nationally and internationally for her expertise in Regional Anesthesia. She is in the process of establishing an Arab Association of Regional anesthesia and pain medicine to enhance the practice of regional anesthesia in the Arab countries.
